The Honda Civic Type R is the high performance version of the Honda Civic compact car. It features a lightened and stiffened body, specially tuned engine, offered only in five- or six-speed manual transmission, and upgraded brakes and chassis. Red is used in the Honda badge background to give it a special sporting distinction and to separate it from other models.
