The Aston Martin Vantage is a series of hand-built sports cars from the British automotive manufacturer Aston Martin. Aston Martin has previously used the "Vantage" name on high-performance variants of their existing GT models, notably on the Virage-based car of the 1990s. The car was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005 for the 2006 model year. and announced new technological updates for the Vantage starting in the 2009 model year.
In 2017, Aston Martin announced a limited, track-focused iteration of the V8 Vantage: the Vantage GT8. The company would only manufacture 150 cars, 50 more than the GT12. The GT8 features the same 4.7-litre V8 as found in the base Vantage but with power now increased to 440 bhp (328 kW; 446 PS), and has a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h).
